Drat!

I rode my bike for 1/2 hour in the rain to get to work, and 1/2 back, which adds up to about 3 hours that my feet were soaking wet. The end result, was me, not wanting to step back out in the rain. Sorry I missed the get-together. If you want to see what I did at work check the new link ("cool art" on the right sidebar)"The Elves Workshop".

Color Correction to All Clips?

Does anyone remember how to add the same color correction to more than one clip at a time in Final Cut Pro?

1/3

This is part of a seating room at the Fort Garry Hotel, I submitted it as one of 3 possible rooms to model in 3d. I think it's pretty cool looking with the weird/spooky face on the fireplace. =)

My DMT Test Result

I had to do a over the shoulder graphic for the Nobel Peace Prize drama going on involving Liu Xiaobo. Here is what came of it! I incorporated a map of China (with irrelevant geography fading to the left), the flag of China, Liu himself and the prize too. I also changed the blue template graphics to red, and made it "World" news instead of just "News" news. I hope you guys like it!

Need sounds for your video? Check out this link!

Hey folks,

I know a lot of you are working on your videos for Forde and maybe can't or don't want to make your own sound effects. This is why Freesound.org exists!

The sound effects made on this website are recorded and uploaded by users and are completely and utterly free to use. I think if you were to use any of them on a commercial project, you just have to make sure you site the users who uploaded the sounds, but i don't think you need to worry about that for school projects.

Would I get fired from the TV station for this?

Just Wondering. =P

Lorem Ipsum

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance.
